Afshin Mehin is the founder of Woke Studio in. Born to Iranian parents, raised in Canada and having studied and worked in the UK and US, Afshin has had a varied cultural upbringing, which he happily channels into much of his work. His work often focuses on the intersection of industrial design and interaction design, looking at ways to create objects that provide people with meaningful experiences. Afshin has worked internationally for studios such as BarberOsgerby and StudioConran in London, IDEO in San Francisco, and the M.I.T. Media Lab Europe in Dublin. He completed his MA design studies at the Royal College of Art in 2004 and his BA at the University of British Columbia. His work has been featured in publications and press both in the UK and internationally.
