Venelin Kokalov is Revery Architecture’s Design Principal. With a background in architecture and structural engineering, Venelin is widely respected for his innovative integration of architectural function and form. Recognized for his intuition and sensitivity to space, time, and human interaction, Venelin’s unique approach is demonstrated in the experiential nature of his work. Under Venelin’s direction, the Revery team has won prestigious international design competitions, including the Xiqu Centre Opera House and the University of Chicago’s new campus in Hong Kong. His work and passion are evident in the locally completed Surrey City Centre Li-brary, Guildford Pool, and more recently, SFU Sustainable Energy Engineering Building, The Butterfly, and MacEwan University’s Centre for Performing Arts, Allard Hall.
